It is believed that Raphaël Baudin is originally from Aundair, as his name suggests, but there is no records that House Deneith can find to support this claim, and it is believed to be a moniker. Regardless, those who have spoken to him have remarked on his accent and sylish clothes. He prefers not to speak in person, and instead makes use of a magic mouth spell, leading some to believe that he is a sorcerer himself.

In Our Story:

Raphaël Baudin stole from the powerful Torrn family (part of the triumvirate of House Tharashk), a priceless artifact that they want to see returned immediately. Most Marchers, including House Deneith and the Liondrakes, do not know what this item is - only that its recovery is time sensitive. Rose d'Deneith knows that this item is a strange egg that she has been carrying out of her fascinations with dragons and their kind. Why Raphaël was seeking this egg, and who he was stealing it for, remains a mystery.
