Session 6, 10 Therendor 998 YK

General Summary

Following their escape from Cavallah and the Daask cell's hideout in the superstructure above Malleon's Gate, the party returned to The Crooked Mirror to collapse and recover. Therin collected 700 galifar from Ilsa Boromar for information provided on the location of the goblin's lair and what he heard of her immediate plans. Ilsa directed him to seek out this "Tyrant One" and attempt to form a temporary alliance to deal with the Daask cell in Sharn.

Rare: On Ice!

Rare dreamed of standing on an endless expanse of ice, the only figure as far as her eye could see. A faint blue beacon rose in the distance, serving as a goal for her to hike toward. Ice began to climb up her feet and slowly encase her as she walked. She was utterly alone, with not even Glacias to comfort her. Unable to move, the ice slowly crept up her chest, shoulders and face. She awoke in her room unscathed.

Saving Private Diggory:

The party sought out a lead on Diggory Smith's current location by speaking with Tye Copperkettle in the Boromar Family's dreamlily storehouse. From there, they made their way to the dreamlily den that they assumed Diggory to be in. While Therin and Glittergem sought the veteran out, Rare ducked into Tinker's Gold Dragon to speak with her new acquaintance- Tinker himself.
After recovering Diggory Glittergem and Therin drug him out of the dreamlily den to find themselves squaring off against six members of the Brokenbridge Boys, a low-level gang that Diggory had been running with. The two samaritans found themselves overwhelmes before a familiar figure began to overwhelm them with some rapid wand slinging. Keth had been seeking out Diggory as well, but decided to aid the heroes instead.
Saved from near-death, Therin and Glittergem were given until the end of the day to come up with a way to save Diggory from Cavallah's wrath. Keth intended to meet with them that evening at Tinker's Gold Dragon.

More News About Dalamar:

While Therin and Glittergem fought for their lives, Rare learned more information about Dalamar Navaris, a warlock whom she was hunting for a bounty and her own personal reasons. Tinker confirmed that he had heard news of Dalamar taking up residence beneath the Blackstone Cathedral, and that he had even sent a half-orc into the crypt himself to try to recover the children that are believed to be kidnapped by the warlock.

Shopping Trip:

With the day ahead of them, the party proceded to shop in The Bazaar as a means of gathering the equipment necessary to continue on their quests. Armed with new spell scrolls, clothing/ armor, an Amulet of Proof Against Detection and Location, and some Alchemist Supplies the party felt equipped to venture further.

Finding the Pickpocket:

Before leaving The Bazaar, the party sought out the thief that had stolen Therin's various coinpurses the previous day. After casing the outdoor market and luring the cutpurse into the open, the party discovered their nemesis to be a talented halfling boy. After discovering the party worked for Ilsa Boromar, the boy offered to part with his day's earnings and a magical item he had just acquired (Black Flame Lantern).
