Whisper and Howl Tarkanan

Whisper is a headstrong thief of common origins, found by Thora Tavin when she first returned to Sharn. She is a naturally talented thief, augmented by an aberrant dragonmark that absorbs sound when activated. When Thora wants to make a statement by stealing priceless treasures from a Dragonmarked House, she’ll send Whisper- alone. Whisper does not question the morality of her decisions, unless she gets into her cups, and even then she quickly dismisses any qualms by remembering the excesses of the Dragonmarked gentry and what they do to oppress those who were not born into their families.
Howl was formerly a member of the proud Carrion Tribes of the Demon Wastes and was an accomplished warrior even before her dragonmark manifested at 12 years of age. It is said that only Whisper has ever seen the face hidden behind her mask, but that may not even be true. The bloodthirsty fighter joined House Tarkanan just a few short weeks after Whisper, having only just arrived in Sharn from a months-long hike alone across Khorvaire. Assigned as muscle to protect Whisper if she was "made" during a job, the two quickly kindled a romance that has survived from adolesence to the present day.
