Session 5: Downtime
Sunlight enters the windows of the inn rooms that the players reside in. Everyone awakens and head downstairs to get a meal before they start exploring the city. Over breakfast R0-K1 suggests going to Brass Skull first, and everyone agrees.
After passing many beggars in the streets, the party arrives at the Brass Skull. They are greeted by Hazer d’Cannith, who is a retired member of the House of d’Cannith. He asks everyone what brings them from New Cyre, and everyone tells him their reasons, although some are more secretive than others. Once everyone is done looking at the stock, Adonis suggests going to the Jorasco Enclave, everyone agrees to go. When the party arrives they see any healers, and one of them suggests looking at their services. While the party looks at the services, Adonis offers his help if they ever need it. Alex tells everyone that they should go to the Blue Steel Blacksmith next, and everyone agrees, Alex buys a extremely powerful crossbow while there. The party goes to the Eye of Newt next, and there R0-K1 buys a bomb. Next up is the Faulty Dice, which is owned by Kaldas, while looking around Alex finds a quiver that they really want. Alex promises Kaldas a good time in order to get a discount on the quiver. After Alex’s seduction skills going on display, everyone heads to Guarding Blossom Pawn Store. The Pawn store is owned by Arel, and she buys trinkets and sells them. The party scrouges around to find a few trinkets that they want to buy, and then they head to the Spellbound Store. Keltix d’Sivis owns the Spellbound Store and she sells magic items. No party members find any items that they want and they head different ways. R0-K1 goes back to the Brass Skull and gets some cosmetic modification, while Adonis goes back to the Pawn Shop only to leave with nothing.
Once Adonis and R0-K1 meet back up with Alex in the inn, they talk to Rarth, the Innkeeper, to get some food before heading off to bed. In the dead of night, the party is awoken by soldiers entering their room telling them, “Adonis Lenoir, you and your comrades are under arrest for homicide!”
