Gatekeeper Druids
The Gatekeepers are the oldest of the many druid sects of Khorvaire. Their primary concern is to defend nature against aberrations, outsiders, undead, and similar beings. The first of the Gatekeepers, who were exclusively orcs, learned their magic from the dragon Vvaraak. Gatekeepers were instrumental in defending Eberron from the Daelkyr 9000 years ago (although they were wiped out nearly to a man doing so), and they maintain the seals that prevent another incursion from Xoriat to this day. One need not be orcish to join the modern incarnation of the Gatekeepers, but orcs and half-orcs do still account for around 50 percent of the Gatekeeper ranks.

Although they are unquestionably aligned against demons, daelkyr, and all other threats to Eberron, they are also not very keen on anyone else. Some of them recognize the need to work with the more civilized areas of the world, distasteful as that may be. Most, however, are like the most rabid, violent, radicals that ever hugged a tree.
