House Deneith

House Deneith is a human dragonmarked house whose members are highly acclaimed mercenaries and bodyguards known for their efficiency and martial skill. Taking sides is bad for business, so during the Last War, Deneith remained neutral and provided soldiers to all sides. Now that the war has ended, Deneith members are hired for guarding monarchs and chasing down criminals. Although they are much more established, Deneith finds itself often competing directly with House Tharashk and, in some cases (monstrous mercenaries, for example), losing. The rivalry between these two Houses is far from friendly; sabotage and even murder between them is commonplace. House Cannith is another Deneith rival, although slightly less bitter. Now that Cannith no longer mass-produces warforged and does mass produce guns, there is less call for animosity.
The House bears the Mark of Sentinel and oversees the following guilds:
the Blademarks (mercenary security)
the Defenders (experienced mercenaries and bodyguards)
and the Sentinel Marshalls (bounty hunters and law enforcement)
