Traveler's Curse

The Traveler's Curse is a persistent, psuedo-arcane phenomenon that alters Xen'drik both temporally and spatially. Adventurers find that landmarks move during the night, the sun travels erratically across the sky, and even the most recent maps are wholly inaccurate. Occasionally, the curse will cause a person to arrive where they need to be earlier than expected, but more often the curse leaves explorers wandering lost in the jungle until illness, thirst, or predators ultimately end their lives.
