Session 39: Up, Up, and Away
General Summary
After a long goodbye, the party board the Sun Chaser in pursuit of Benne Rowich. The Sun Chaser is equipped to fly nonstop in pursuit, with two captains (Nimlenwe Orren and Cid Kevadirtinu) alternating at the helm and a storm sorcerer (Elasha Petsalor) to assist. A small crew handles the rest of the day to day operations. The party makes themselves comfortable, and works with the captains to chase Benne.
Benne has a head start, and her ship is technically faster. She moves Southeast with the party pursuing. The party make several attempts to locate their adversaries using the device Merrix d'Cannith provided for detecting the ship while invisible, and the tracker placed on the ship by Karias Von Allmen. At one point the party appears to spook Benne, causing her to veer suddenly North. The party turns as well, still attempting to locate her. Benne then appears to be heading due East, which would have her heading directly into the Mournlands.
Somewhere over the Dragonwood the party asks Nimlenwe and Esravash to use their special ability- a drastic increase in speed, but a loss of ability to turn. They do so and the Sun Chaser comes within a few hundred yards of their quarry, but it appears Benne has continued to turn and is now heading more South. The captain works to slow the Sun Chaser down to be able to regain the ability to turn, but it takes time. In the meanwhile, the question becomes where to attempt to intercept their quarry. Benne appears to be heading now for the Seawall Mountains, but passing over high mountains is risky. The Marguul Pass is the safest passage, but not the only one. The party debate their next step as they try to determine Benne's ultimate destination...

Ripper's plants become Awakened Shrubs. Their feelings on the matter are unclear.
