Session 5: Settlement
General Summary
• Warforged leader (Anchor) talks to party, addresses only Ripper . Wants to know what’s up. After seeing the symbol, Anchor takes them to Settlement .
• Sizable Warforged population in the town, very functional. Big pagoda with the artwork and Warforged chatting. Doc is working on healing a Warforged in the middle.
• Party meets Lute , who plays music with Celosia , chats and flirts with Toox and Celosia
• Ripper and Tunruk - watches and learns from Doc as he works. Weapons and mods are shushed, but otherwise strong nature/arcana magic in ring
• Doc talks to the party in his home. He wants the cult destroyed and will help, though not looking to risk Warforged. He’d prefer the party die.
• Ripper is introduced to Bug , who helps him talk to some ants. The ants tell him the group is due North, and would love a live non-poisoned person as a meal
• Tunruk talks with Doc and assists with the creation of a type of radar. Doc helps with Tunruk’s gun. Doc also believe House Cannith created the Day of Mourning by messing with things they couldn’t understand
• Celosia and Toox hang out with Lute a bit more. They learn the Warforged want a better life and are growing to become more than they are. Artists, musicians, etc. They also face judgement from the other Cog residents. And the cult seems to only attack Warforged.
• The Oasis album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? is canon. Wonderwall is a song well known by musicians across the realm, and is often the first song aspiring musicians learn due to it’s simple chord progression.
