Simon is a long-time researcher and professor at Morgrave University . He is considered an expert in Alternative Civilizations, or as they're more commonly (and disparagingly) called, Monster Towns. He is also a master linguist, speaking gnoll, goblin, giant, orc, amongst several others.
He is rumored to be of monster ancestry himself, something he has neither confirmed nor denied.

Currently, he has secured an audience with the Daughter of Sora Kell, the triumvirate of rulers in the Dooram city of The Great Crag.
