The Ballad of the Greendale Seven
A banned (or at least strongly discouraged) song credited to Feldspar Merrlin, it has become an underground favorite amongst bards in Eastern Breland. The song contains the supposed exploits of seven adventures, including the song's supposed author, as they exposed corruption in a law enforcement body (believed to be The Citadel). According to the song the Greendale Seven conned and then robbed the corrupt police of their ill-gotten gains, and humiliated them in the process.
The tradition is for bards to carry the music with them in a scroll, and when asked by another bard about the song they are to pass the scroll along to them. The scroll was supposedly written by Feldspar himself, and must be hand copied by the receiving bard to learn the song. The original scroll must remain with the scroll case, the only change allowed being a tiny hash mark on the inside of the scroll case lid.
