Cannith, the Forgeborn
House Cannith, marked by the Mark of Making, are the masters of invention in Eberron. Their human members are the continent's best crafters, alchemists, and artificers. From mundane tools to magical warforged constructs, anything built likely has Cannith fingerprints on it. Their vast forgeholds churn out progress, but some whisper of dark secrets and a thirst for power within their innovations.
House Cannith is divided up into three distinct sub factions.
Cannith East was based out of Metrol in Cyre and was lost during the Day of Mourning. Any member that remain were located elsewhere when Cyre fell and thus this house is fractured and broken.
Cannith West is located out of Aundair and led by Jorlanna d'Cannith.
Cannith South is located in Sharn and is led by Merrix d'Cannith.
Heriarchy and Rank Structure
The Ruling Council The ruling council is the highest level of authority in House Cannith and is responsible for the overall direction and management of the entire organization. This council is made up of the senior members of the house and is headed by the patriarch or matriarch of House Cannith. The ruling council sets the policies, makes key decisions, and determines the overall direction of the house. The Leadership Council The leadership council is made up of individuals who have proven themselves to be capable leaders and managers, and are responsible for running specific areas of the house's operations. Members of the leadership council often manage teams of artisans and are responsible for managing the finances, security, and other operational aspects of House Cannith. The Artisan Council The artisan council is made up of the skilled members of the house who are responsible for the creation of magical items and constructs, research, and the day-to-day operations of the house's various workshops and factories. Artisans are considered to be the backbone of House Cannith, as they are responsible for creating the magical items that are at the heart of the house's power and wealth.
