House Orien is found throughout Khorvaire and its major enclave located in Passage, Aundair. The house specializes in courier services and land-based transport. Although House Cannith invented the lightning rail, House Orien are the ones who operate and manage it.

The High Couriers At the pinnacle stand the High Couriers, individuals with exceptional magical talent and leadership qualities. They wield the Mark of Passage with unmatched mastery, often teleporting themselves or leading critical deliveries across vast distances.
Guild Masters
Below the High Couriers are the Guild Masters. Each of the three major guilds – The Courier's Guild, Transportation Guild, and Trailblazers – has a Guild Master who oversees its operations. They are responsible for managing resources, personnel, and ensuring smooth operation within their specific domain.
Couriers & Steersmen
This is the core workforce of House Orien. Couriers utilize their Mark abilities and honed skills to deliver messages and packages. Some specialize in speed, others in navigating treacherous terrain, while some might have an affinity for handling magical items. Steersmen manage land-based transportation – elemental carriages, coaches, and even mundane wagons. They ensure the safety and efficiency of these journeys.
Scribes & Wayfinders
Scribes maintain meticulous records, ensuring clear communication and accurate delivery schedules. Wayfinders, though not exclusive to House Tharashk, play a crucial role for Orien. They map new routes, scout terrain for potential dangers, and maintain the extensive network of roads and waystations.
Adept & Apprentice New recruits with a nascent Mark of Passage begin as Adepts. They train under experienced members, honing their magical abilities and learning the intricacies of House Orien's operations. Apprentices are typically assigned to senior Couriers or Steersmen, gaining practical experience before becoming fully-fledged members.
