Session 11: Graduation Report

General Summary

After the completion of their studies, internships, training and or pilgrimmage, the group gathers back for a summer in Stokedown. This summer, early on, adds in a surprise invitation. The group was noteworthy in their training and studies, and were invited to a special graduation ball at the King's Castle.
Later on, the group gets a visit from the Royal Advisor, a.k.a. they brother of the King of Breland: Kor ir'Wynarn. The advisor informs the young ones that the ball includes a boon to the graduates, and that the item, the Royal Scepter, used to grant this boon is a unique magical item highly sought out. Being that the place is well guarded, the issue lies more in a thief, or heist group, getting to the scepter and making off with it without anyone noticing.
He offers a price of 25g per person if accepted and the mission, successful, with a 5g due upon acceptance.
The group is given 2 days to debate their participation and informed that they will receive an information package should they accept. The advisor leaves and the group debates intentions and strategy. There is a dwelling on the idea of pre-emptively stealing the scepter from Astara and Youka, but there is hesitation and through debated, determined that this is not a course of action plausible, as most would not participate.
GAME BREAK
The group splits and the project is agreed upon. A list of information is then granted to the team, including security details, dignitaries in attendance, a visual of the scepter and a blueprint of the location. The group focuses on their individual goals for the night, from eyes on the scepter, to dancing, good time, glory, meeting the king and or other people of high standings.
The rest is spent planing dresswear for their moment in the spotlight, and each student's plus one (everyone but Eavaan, who opts to attend alone).
