Session 62: Back in Fairhaven Report

General Summary

We start with the crew at the pie shop, discussing the next job to take for the Wayfinders. After much debate, the group opts to select the hunt for the largest mimic. In addition, the group debates checking in on the Warforged (but then don't) and Trajan gets a letter letting him know the dome is complete in its construction, and that he needs staff to manage it. The subject of the queen returns to the table, and the group splits. All with the queen except Trajan who goes to find some solutions for the latest correspondance.   First, he goes to a trip at town hall, well the elder tender of the staffing office and get an add out for the regular workers (vendors, ticketers, janitors, etc.) but they can't help for the top manager of the dome. He'll need to pick someone he knows. He'll need to stop at the bank for insurances.   Meanwhile at the castle, they arrive just in time as the Queen is mid-packing up her belongings, and with convincing group recommendations and Eavaan's 28 persuasion, the queen is convinced that she needs to change her plans, and has the butler change her travel plans but is still leaving for the airdocks, for that 'old place'. She then summons her guard captain and puts the group in charge of the royal guards to take down Ulgor, her corrupt advisor which is revealed as Trajan's business partner, and Storholme location putting all 5 nations leaders at risk. With a scan of the room, Ulgor isn't there, but another quorri is - one of the maid which is chased by Astara and spell-assaulted by Senra and Eavaan.   The maid is then questionned by Eavaan, Merta and Nina, while Astara and Senra send for Trajan to go to the Airship dock, and then get on the way themselves. The poor sprinting dragonborn, uses all of his energies, only to find 10 stories worth of stairs to reach the top, and muster the energy to do so.   In their questionning, the others back there manage to prevent a self destruction move by the evil quorri in their capture and do a deep dive of her memories, where they find more about Ulgor, leading teh place. Her though, knows very little, as she was mainly serving as eyes and ears in the castle, reporting the location of teh Queen at all times, and her surroundings via the sending phone in the servants quarters.   The game ends with Trajan facing off with Ulgor, mad for the betrayal, where the dwarf threatens him with the Trajandome, saying that legally, he would take down the dragonborn, for Trajan had not read the contract he signed well, and made himself accountable for all activities there. The queen had passed them, on her way to the airship. Senra and Astara just arrive, and we roll initiative for a 3 vs 1 battle.   END GAME
