Dragonmarked Houses

Dragonmarked Houses are extended families of a single race whose members sometimes manifest mystical dragonmarks. A dragonmark is an arcane sigil that appears on the skin. The mark is a source of magical power and enhances the bearer's ability to perform certain tasks. In Eberron, each mark is tied to specific bloodlines. These families often have a near-monopoly on certain kinds of businesses and are considered neutral in any affairs between the nations of Khorvaire.
