City of Thronehold

Thronehold is the former capital city of Galifar, located on an island in the middle of Scions Sound. It is a place of international intrigue. It was formerly divided into five districts that are each controlled by one of the Five Nations.
While Thronehold stands to this day as neutral ground, accessible to all nations but belonging to none. Thronehold Castle is still maintained by the Wardens of House Deneith, and remains off limits.
Located in the westernmost portion of Thronehold, the Thronehold Gate separates Thronehold Castle from the Karrnathi Zone. Identification papers are needed to pass beyond the gate, and only those with business (such as matters to be put before the Thronehold Tribunal) are allowed through. Visitors are assigned an escort from House Deneith during their time within Thronehold.
Most of the Castle itself is locked up and unused. There is a wing set aside the use of the Tribunal. House Deneith maintains their enclave within the walls of the keep, and a representative of House Sivis is assigned full-time to the keep for notarizing documents and conveying messages throughout Khorvaire for the magistrates. Additionally, some of the out-buildings located within the walls of the keep are used for storage or other functions.
