Hi Ho Hi Ho It's Off to Work We Go (Game 8/15/20)

After the attack on the Gleaming Frogwart, the party regrouped and did some investigation. Much speculation was made about Mayor Farkus being involved somehow in the kobold scheme. 

• Alice saw a young female guard suspiciously enter the mayor's house and never come out.
• Grass snuck into the mayor's warehouse and despite causing a commotion discovered a office that needed checking out. Under cover of darkness, Grass snuck back into the warehouse and unearthed a ledger which showed the mayor's profits correlating with the kobold attacks. Farkus was even taking a cut of the increased cost to caravans for extra guard protection.
• The party attended the meeting where they were contracted to solve the kobold problem at the rate of 7 gp/day for each member plus room/board
• The party spent some time at Basila's Shop of Splendorious Inventions. The tiefling proprieter, Pomil, agreed to work on the schematics for a bomb...er, flare. Pomil is also associated with House Sivis and provides a messenger service for a charge.
• Traveling north, the party entered the abandoned village of Reviel. Thanks to Grass's expert ranger skills and stealth, they avoided a battle with giant spiders while discovering a tunnel used by the kobolds and some other unknown creature.
• Leaving the tunnel and village, the party walked the long road up to the entrance to the Visperian Mine. There, they took stock of the situation before heading deeper into the mine in search of the kobolds.
