Duchess of Veindau
Aeira Shea Tousal is the daughter of a lesser aristocrat from the Veindau region of south Venzia. Aeira is one of the few souls gifted with foresight. Veindau is reknowned for its plentiful fruit harvests, being that the region is surrounded by the combined climates of the Maelstrom Coast (wet and forested) and the drier mountain climate of the Grey Rises near Cloudlock.
Aeira's family has also been well known in the region for the proliferation of ciders, meads, and wines in addition to their prized equines. As a duchess of Venzia, Aeira has attended court in some capacity since she was able to first travel, giving her a skill for diplomatic endeavors. Since she was a young child, she has learned to hone her charismatic abilities as a young lady of an aristocratic house, in addition to her own natural talents related to the equestrian sports. Aeira has often competed in tourneys throughout the kingdom, even securing a place in the Grand Tournament in Venzor in 1718 CE.
Throughout, Aeira's childhood was largely uneventful. Her education, socialization, and equestrian training took the majority of her focus and time. At 13-years-old, at the time of her first monthy blood, Aeira began having visions of the end of the world. These visions appeared so graphically, sensorily, and frequently, that she did not sleep well for nearly a year. The dreams were so vivid that she would awaken each night, screaming from her bed chambers, and covered in a thick layer of cold sweat. The dreams were extremely detailed, and she was able to recal these details upon waking. It was also the same dream each night.
