Brotherhood of Seven

The Brotherhood of Seven is designed around a seven-person hierarchy. The number of brothers is based off of the number of original followers that Yaelman Hamnet had when he stormed Castle Dakronias during the final days of the Hallowing War. Each of the brothers operates in an independent role within the Keep of the Seven and oversees members of the Order of the Hallowed Eye. The Order of the Hallowed Eye is a religious, and militaristic arm of the Brotherhood.   The High Brother is the ranking member of the Brotherhood. This role acts as the Lord of Proceedings during hearings, council meetings, and diplomatic summits. The High Brother is usually the veteran of the group, having attained a level of enlightenment, training, and understanding of the world that would overshadow most aged court advisors. The High Brother is the final tiebreaker in any situation where the other council members are divided. They also act as the figurehead and final word of law among the Brotherhood and the Order of the Hallowed Eye.
