Blight
Blights are plants that have been tainted with evil power, becoming aggressive masses of plantlife shaped into the form of a humanoid.
Basic Information
Anatomy
There are three main types of blights. Twig blights are small humanoid-shaped masses of twigs about the size of a halfling. Needle and vine blights are roughly human-sized, though they are made up of masses of thorns and vines. Vine blights use their body to restrain and grapple their prey.
Additional Information
Average Intelligence
Twig and needle blights are low-intelligence monsters, often wandering around attacking creatures on sight for no apparent reason. Vine blights on the other hand are slightly smarter, and can even learn to communicate with some creatures.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
All blights can "see" up to 60 feet around them by sensing changes to the plantlife around them. For example, a blight would be able to sense someone walking on grass within 60 feet of them, as they are physically interacting with the grass. Although they lack to usual five senses (sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing), this ability to sense what nearby plants are sensing more than makes up for it.
