Writney the Ripper (also known as the Rat Queen) is the de-facto leader of Mantlemine's entire population of wererats. She is also one Suskut Ravasvu's favorite underlings, making her an influential figure in The Crimson Knives. She is a true wererat who is known for her savageness. She appears to be a human while in humanoid form.

Although she has a wiry frame, Writney is known to be incredibly agile, using her magical cloak to go invisible and get the drop on any unsuspecting victims without making as much as a single sound.

Writney is always wearing her combat leathers and sports an incredibly powerful magical cloak, which makes her completely invisible while wearing it. She is also known for her many gold rings and earrings. She always has her Crimson Knife tattoo on her left shoulder exposed, often shaving away her copious body hair to make sure it is seen.
