Andre Francisco
Andre Francisco was a beloved figure in Chelmsford, Massachusetts during the latter half of the twentieth century. A veteran of World War II, he came home and made a name for himself as a firefighter, the hot air balloon operator on the Fourth of July, and the best table tennis player in the Merrimack Valley.
He was the second husband of Carla DiStefano and the adoptive father of Carla’s daughter Carlene. After Carlene had three daughters of her own but found herself with no patience for their father, Andre stepped up once again and did his part to help raise the three girls he’d always call, despite there being no blood relation between them, his granddaughters.
