Astrid D’Helena
Astrid D’Helena was Queen Consort of Yesterland during the reign of her husband Frederick I. Born the daughter of a sorcerer and a scientist, she caught the attention of Frederick when they were teenagers at court during the reign of Frederick’s mother Gwendolyn. And yet, their courtship was cut short when Astrid’s parents were banished from the capital for their experiments with necromancy and artificial life.
Years passed, as years do, and Astrid grew into something of an accomplished scientist and sorcerer herself. In her early 20s, she was invited back to court as thanks for her role in constructing the clockwork coffin which caged her parents famous “monster” once and for all.
