The Revenant King
Olaf is the original ancestor of all house fullnycht. He came 312 years ago to take Echelonn as his secret growing ground for the Fruit of All knowledge.
Though it would not be an easy task. First, he came and conquered the land of Echelon and became their first unified King. He did this so that he could more easily attain capital and other resources for his plan, and also so that none would interfere. Then, as he did this, he completely absorbed the realm's sun and stored it inside himself as life energy. He then created a room deep underground castle Ravennor, where he planted the seed of the Tree of All knowledge and used casted a miniature sun with the life energy he harvested and directed it to the seed so that it could develop.
Then, he created his lineage. He had his first son Yohannon, and taught him to be ruler of this land and to safeguard the castle and the room where the seed was, though he didnt explain to him what it is. While doing that, he created the dark forces to restrict all souls and people to inside the island so that the seed could also absorb their life energy and also to keep his family from moving elsewhere. He also binded all his descendants mentally to him, so that he could telepathically communicate and attempt to advise or irritate them to do what was necessary. Unfortunately, there was not enough energy for his wife, Anastasia Fullnycht to be kept alive as well so she died and kept being reincarnated as no souls can leave Echelonn.
He kept a cult, the Revenant cult, to do his bidding and keep people from finding out his plan. This revenant cult started at his time and has been living under the castle in secret safeguarding the room where he laid rest. Access to this room was knowledge lost over the generations. The current leader of the Revenant cult is Sirrion Rivers, a descendant of the original leader of the cult, Kynden Rivers, who was the Hand of the King in the Olaf's time. He also created a telepathic link with house Rivers to make sure they'd be ok. House Rivers, living under the mountain, has access to food and water due to the dark elf servants which they hired from the immense wealth the Revenant King left to them. The dark elf servants are also the ones who bring the party to Echelonn, along with many other parties, and the ones who fabricate the Aleksandr's letter. Sirrion Rivers, the Puppeteer, is the dark wizard who leads the Revenant cult and enforces the Revenant King's will by manipulating Nobles and the Hand of the King, as well as working to maintain the secret plan, finding Anastasia's reincarnation and attempting to reunite the broken and lost artifact.
Finally, he laid to rest and hibernate while the seed was still growing, as he couldnt keep his body active with the little life energy he used, only barely alive. though he did wake up from time to time, and listened in with telepathy on both his descendants and the Revenant cult.
