Orașpa

Located on the outskirts of Barovia lies the sleepy town of Orașpa. Built upon the delta that feeds the biggest Lake and all the rivers within the valley, this place is a whaling port town that helped guide many vessels and merchants heading for Vallaki to trade their wares and goods. Since the blockade was enacted around Vallaki, no one has been seen coming from the town officially. Unofficially, there is still occasional traffic from the illegal shipments participated in by the Crime Families.

Since the complete degradation of the trading network and most ports falling into disarray, most people assume the town itself has either fallen into disarray, or has completely vanished. Smugglers for the crime families complain of hearing strange voices further up the delta during their trips, and rumors of large monsters now inhabiting the rivers circulate throughout the valley.
