005 - A Clockwork Caper

General Summary

The Space Oddities had tracked down the clockwork crooks that had stolen Xaylee's tech, but their lack of stealth let the brassy bandits get the drop on them. A fight ensued and the Oddities came out on top, retrieving the missing crystal but allowing one of the robots to escape!

Returning to Xaylee the crew handed over the crystal, which allowed her to complete the tech she was working on - by reversing her emergency beacon, she was able to pick up a signal from a potential nearby settlement. The crew packed up and headed off after a short rest.

Their journey took the crew across a huge gap in the asteroid field, where they deftly jumped from rock to rock through the void of space to make it to the other side. On this new asteroid, they found a strange outbuilding which, upon entering, locked them all inside this confined space.

It took some quick thinking as their air supply was dwindling, but eventually the crew managed to solve the puzzle of the room and gain entry into a mysterious vault...
