Yaremin Ambershine
A knight from ancient times responsible for the liberation of Portia many centuries ago. He is sometimes hailed as a demigod, and worshipped at small-town shrines. His descendants - the Ambershine family - still rules the country to this day.
Yaremin's death is not recorded, nor was his body ever found. Some believe he just left the country, or ascended with body intact. Others believe his crypt is hidden somewhere in Portia, filled with ancient treasures.
