Adyn, god of Creation

"Why worship Adyn? Take something, anything, made by mortal hands. Look at it. Before it existed, it was someone's idea. Before that, it was a need, a longing that was felt. Before that, it was possibility, whatever materials the object is made of, and the mind that would one day spawn it. Now imagine the steps that created the possibility, and the kind of mind that could make it from nothing. That is why you should worship Adyn." -Itet Khody

Personality and Appearance
Adyn is widely regarded as the first of the gods and the original creator of the world. Given the vast range of all that can be attributed to their hands, many tend to portray them as endlessly curious and fascinated by their creations and the fractal nature of imagination among their most sentient creatures. Those critical of them would extend this fascination to outright ambivalence or even malice towards the struggles of their creations, allowing beasts, pestilence, and scarcity to gain power in the world they created. In contrast, their acolytes posit suffering as a necessary part of their grand creation, either through careful and precise planning in a master plan, or by allowing all things to coexist without preferential treatment of any one thing. Regardless, there is simply so much that can be attributed to them that most simply acknowledge the god's contributions, for good and for ill.   Perhaps the other major inference to draw about Adyn is their relations with the other gods who came to follow them in this venture called reality. Perhaps her closest tie is to Zirco, the supposed opposition that creation and destruction have is instead shown to be more akin to a collaboration between partners. Creation requires constraint, the edges of where one thing ends and a new thing begins. Just as one can build a castle from bricks another can carve a statue from stone; both methods are productive, and both are needed for the greatest works. As for the other gods, Adyn has consistently lent their power to all pursuits of their companions. It is perhaps why they have opted to produce so many demigods; to pursue the ends of creation in all forms, through all forces of the world.

Common Practices
Worshippers of Adyn regularly devote themselves to the entire pantheon, owing to Adyn's natural desire for collaboration. Many of their ceremonies involve participants assembling, growing, or transcribing something that is representative of their own desires and imagination, and then giving it up as offering to recognize where it all came from. Subjects such as decay, death, and violence are often not acknowledged in places dedicated to Adyn, believing them to be either unproductive or improper to address aloud. Thus many who are struggling under their current circumstances may find Adyn and their followers to be surprisingly cold to their woes, leading many to look elsewhere for answers.

Lore
After establishing reality from what did not exist, Adyn worked tirelessly with their fellow gods to create Edari in all of its intricate detail, rules, and exceptions. After assembling Turfi, the last of their demigods with the help of Akhard, Adyn would take a more advisory role, allowing their creations and their offspring to make something of their own. This however changed with the Century War, a conflict that saw much of her creation lose their individuality to the collective of death. Either unable or unwilling to interfere with the conflict itself, she took it upon herself to defy destruction and create an abundance of new life following the end of the war. While this act would save the land, the people, and their spirits from the entropy of despair, it took a great toll upon them. Shortly after the war ended, Adyn would disappear from the perception of the devoted, though with the continuation of new life and creation it is hard to believe that they are truly gone.

A meek humanoid outline of multicolored beauty, they wear a crown of spiraling points. Be it radiant stars, outreaching arms, or jagged antlers, their headpiece is said to be creativity itself.
