Artisans Day

Artisans Day is a day of celebration in the city of Averum dedicated the cities various artisanal professions, however many other professions not considered to be artisanal are often included in this number, such as dungsweepers and tavern workers.

Taking place on a tenday after Higharvestide, on Marpenoth 10;the festival is known colloquially as 'Peoples Day,' referring to the commonly held belief that the cities many workers keep it functioning, rather than its officials or governance. Dates vary for the origin of the celebration, though the year is thought to originate shortly after the Mindlickers Fray in the early 1000s DC.
