Dark Guard
The Dark Guard are a group of bodyguards, mercenaries and spies used primarily by the Ramuni, to monitor the stability of its various holdings. More or less, functioning as the information arm of the government, they have agents among a number of important cities, throughout the kingdom. The Dark Guard prefer to employ people they know are loyal to their course. When they do seek outside help, it’s often through a messenger rather than direct interactions. The Dark Guard exploit every means possible to serve the family, and have few restrictions placed on them by their employers.
They receive most of their contracts through the Ramuni, although are officially an independent agency. Their influence is more commonly felt among the Ramuni, Averum, along with some of Eshou and eastern Skortenia.

History
The Dark Guard was initially founded outside of government control, although the need for discreet contractors saw they become heavily involved as the organizations notoriety increased.
