Earthen Belt

The Earthen Belt; though sometimes called the Dead Belt, is the region surrounding the Orikste Mountains, at the point where the northern and southern sections of Skortenia meet. The region was named such by humans for its relatively barren hillsides and rocky mountains found throughout. The dwarfs of the region dubbed it a different name - Glaghrunedar, meaning 'safe rock home.'
