Northern Steppe Belt

Stretching across the northern reaches of Skortenia, covering a region roughly twice the size of the Jackal-Lands of Kasetia are the hardy, rough plains of the Northern Steppe Belt. The belt encompasses much of the central areas of northern Skortenia, being the one of two domineering features of the continents north. The region was settled by humans refugees ousted by the Damarans and Shouran peoples that settled the east coast, eventually becoming known as the Hakraz.
