The Western Wars

The Western Wars were a series of battles between Humans, Sarrukh, Batrachi and Aeree. The wars acted as the spark needed to bring Edarmyrnis, first era, the Ascension. The wars heavily weakened the states of every race involved, with humans being the only creator race remaining (in large numbers) on the material plane upon the wars completion around -1731 AS. The humans acted more as a loose confederation of states than anything else, though their success led them to establishing the Munthrek Confederation which spanned all of Kasetia. The sarrukh were thought to have retreated into the remote forests of the southern hemisphere. The batrachi were believed to have fled for Limbo, and developed into the Slaadi. The aeree were asked to act as defenders of the Genies inhabiting the Elemental Plane of Air. The fey, who avoided the conflict, simply fled to the Feywild to rejoin Corellon.
