Pure thoughts, Pure living, and Pure strength. That is the motto of Butch, a simple territory in western Boncly that is devoted to their main religion, along with peaceful and community living.

Demographics

Butch is a mostly human territory, with the few Goliath members of Boncly having their roots within the territory as well.

Government

Butch isn't on the level of a Theocracy, however due to it being the Religious Center for Boncly, and therefore The Lone Gods Faith, the elected Mayor is expected to assist the Head Priest for special occasions. As it so happens, the current Mayor, Orna Cassidy, is also the Head Priest, although she only has 2 more years before she's up for Re-Election for Mayor.

Defences

Butch and it's main city don't have defenses such as walls or stations, as they want to give the message that all are welcome where The Lone God watches. However, where there is faith, there are those who defend it, and along with the Lone Paladins, rumor has it Orna Cassidy herself is a force to be reckoned with.

Industry & Trade

The main service provided by Butch is not only religious gatherings, but also things such as blessings, cleansings, and occasionally defensive jobs such when monsters get a bit too infernal. Alongside that, Butch Barley Bread is a hardy and delectable grain!

Infrastructure

Butch relies on Wind based Energy as much as the rest of Boncly, along with having a small amount of Arcane Technology.

Assets

When it comes to assets, Butch is pretty plain. They do a general amount of farming, crafting, and production work. However, their greatest asset is their amount of religious, and therefore historical, documents.

History

Butch started out as a singular church for The Lone God, a figure who had gone without an organized structure for quite some time. However, as priests stepped up to take care of the church, a community grew around it, and provided safe haven for people passing through, especially during the time of The Border Wars, turning it into the bustling city it is today.

Architecture

Most of the buildings in Butch mainly use simple stone structures, and even the churches aren't too extravagant, especially compared to their contemporaries elsewhere.
