The city of Artistry and Inspiration, Clay is the northmost territory of Boncly, and home to many inspired minds, not only from Boncly, but from beyond, as one of two territories with more lax immigration policies, with the other being the territory of Wyatt.

Demographics

Clay is a mostly Human city, but many other types of people make their residencies within it's territory.

Government

Clay is ran by a collective of representatives of different cultural backgrounds, with the approval of the Mayor trumping all. However, the current Mayor is usually away on buisness as her job as Eddan Liason requires, so it comes down to majority votes.

Infrastructure

Clay is a very modern city, with paved stone roads, many utilities based off of Wind, Hydro, Arcane, and Solar powers.

Assets

Clays biggest industry is Craftsmanship. Whether this is Leatherworking, Herbalism, or just Art, it's prevalent here. Following that, due to being so close to the main river of Boncly, fishing is a key industry as well.

History

Clay used to be an unsettled territory, due to the ground being unstable from the Clay in the area that gives it it's name. However, once some rather eclectic travelers started to experiment with structuring and creating with that clay, it began to vitalize the area and gave way to new ideas of thinking about structure.

Architecture

Buildings in Clay are typically made of wood and stone like the rest of Boncly, despite the name, although many eclectic styles of building and decoration are seen throughout the city.
