The Giving One

The mythical being credited for being the "head" deity of The Ascendants and responsible for the creation of the other gods. Described as a large figure, covered in a never-ending cloak that flows into the ground itself, with the head of a skeletal deer, with Antlers that grew and flowed into the highest reaches of the sky. Some people theorize that The Giving One is modeled after the ancient Dark Elf deity Mavet Tz'viy, rumored to be a deity of Death, with more of a slant of keeping the dead at peace. She was described as a warrior with a mighty cape and large antlers, and her ruling city was Binah, which is rumored to be underneath Atalanta.

As the one accredited with creation of all gods, all Domains can be found within them, and anyone can call upon the echo of their divine presence. If one was to pick a highest domain, then The Domain of Unity would be most aligned with their power to bestow strength to others.

Holy Books & Codes

• The Scrawled Words is a, theoretically, transcription of The Giving Ones first and only sermon, addressing faithful followers in 4,999 BC. It's a collection of tales about each of the main Ascendants, and a few of the minor ones as well.
• The text closes on a final word of advice to all followers: "Do not be held back by the ideal of 'Can' and 'Cannot.' Those are mere words. Push thyself forward with the strength of will and drive, to conquer all."

Generally, extending antlers is a symbol of The Giving One, but they have also been attributed with the image of a World Tree.
