Muddle
A.K.A. Marsh Penguins
They are penguins that have evolved to live in marshlands, instead of arctic tundras. They use their clawed wings to scrape their way through the mud and shallow waters of the swamps. Their coloration fits their surroundings better as well, blending them in with the surroundings. While they've evolved fantastically for movement on their bellies, they have in turn lost much of their walking ability. While their arctic brethren have no knees but some semblance of an ankle, these Muddles barely have ankles as well! Their feet have become largely floppy skin that helps paddle them through muck but doesn't add any stability to their upright stance.
These creatures are the favorites of the folk who live in the delta towns and they will often mark them as pets, giving them ribbons or rings around a flipper to mark them without containing them in a restrictive home. It is often an unofficial event at Imborough's Bricklayers Ball to go hunting for these and put them into silly places (like the local Lord's castle) for a laugh.
