Nestora

Nestora rests on the Tamestrin Sea, a rich body for fishing which brings a lot of work and money into the city. As a result Nestora is the largest and wealthiest of the three major Basin cities.

Demographics

The population of species is diverse, but there does tend to be more humans here as they tend toward the sailing arts.

Government

Managed by the Chapter of Merchants , A council of Merchant Lords who oversee all the business of the city. Originally it was a typical Kingdom, but many years ago this group of wealthy merchants slowly subsumed power from the Kingdom, eventually removing the monarchy altogether.

Industry & Trade

The primary industry here is fish, and there are many other wealthy trades of all sorts, but there is also a notable export of pantaloons. Some of the most comfortable pants have been known to come out of Nestora.

Infrastructure

The ports here have some of the finest machinery around for moving crates of fish. The fisheries can process several hundred fish in an hour.

Assets

There is a large treasury, located under the Council House, that boasts a sizable collection of valuables. It is kept under the strictest guard at all times. No one has ever broken into the treasury and made it out alive.
