Peever (working title)

Peevers are beaver-like creatures that produce a fragrant perfume of unusual quality from a anterior located smell gland. They are often purchased or rented (by the wealthy and moderately well-to-do, respectively) for the purpose of smelling good for special social events. Their scents are diverse and unique, including some such as peppermint, sage and campfire.
