Eden A World of lost Time

Legends say that long before the Dark Era our home was a paradise. Eden, they called it. Legends speak of magnificent beasts that soared through the air, and mighty steeds that carried us in an instant. We thought ourselves gods, masters of the universe around us. However, it was at the hands of this hubris that we soon met our end. A great plague swept our worlds, bringing our dead and our sins before us.   We lost it all, incapable of recognizing our own folly, we rose to fight, to rectify our lives. Alas, it was not to be. Our powers failed us, and our steeds ran dead, the mighty beasts plunging from the sky to rain fire from above. This, was the will of the true gods. For eons untold they condemned us to darkness and solitude, bringing us to chaos whenever we rose to our feet. Our hubris was due it's hell. It wasn't until the gods were satisfied that their king found us, and granted the flame for which had so rightfully been taken from us, and with it, time.   Seven hundred years passed, and under the care of the living gods we prospered and thrived. Blessed by their presence to ascend our pitiful foils. But even the gods were not safe. Four hundred years before the Wild Era came an object to our world, a great eye that gazed upon us and judged our lives. But it was not us, it had judged guilty. The gods were struck down and cast to our world below, condemned as they had so done to us. The eye was gracious however, and with one mighty blink, it bestowed us with power and vanished. Four hundred years before the Wild Era we rose not as mortals, but as beasts in the flesh. One with the animals of our souls we prowled and stalked another to seek our apex. And for hundreds of years untold we dwelled in our animal instincts, little more than the beasts we knew in what came to be known as the Wild Era. Over a hundred years, we've regained ourselves. Planted our feet and stood tall. No longer would we fall, no longer would we be slaves to circumstance.   It has been five hundred years since we regained our footing, and now, we as a people live amongst the gods in the flesh protected by their divine grace or harmed by their divine malice. Upon the Seven continents of Eden, you will find wondrous mysteries and grand discoveries! But beware... Not all is what it may seem to be here on the wondrous home of the gods. Now, it is time to rise again, to remember our sins and reclaim our history for which was lost to us! Now, it was time to take back our crown, for it is only now that the great journey begins.
