Angeli Rosso

Another word for Anguish, most commonly used in the Crimson Empire. The metaphorical depiction of a red angel crouching on a person’s shoulder is representing the build up of Anguish leading to a Schlag. The angelic creature as embodyment of ones own sin, slowly crushing a person with its weight is a common stylistic device in Roman literature and art, usually making a point that no matter how powerful a Sinner might be, they all have to endure the same backlash of using their powers.
