Tark Xeemo
The Ryn were a nomadic monkey like species native to the core worlds. Spreading out amongst the galaxy, their original homeworld forgotten, even to them.
Either musicians (musical flute noses) or mercenaries and due to their homelessness nature and natural secrecy, they became beggars, gypsies or adequate guns for hire. Tark was from a gypsy like family that travelled around the outer rims living in the shadows of whatever they could.
Once grown up, his family had all been killed off, he fell into the trap of gambling and owing debts… to everyone! This led to having to find work and becoming a smuggler. For decades this was the norm and only recently had all the debts been paid off. He is now semi-retired living back on the streets, only making small gambles to get by.
Being old and having been across the galaxy, this makes him feel attuned to the force. But actually, its quite the opposite! He just has extremely good and bad luck. His memory of big adventure still lives inside him. It would take him not very much convincing to fall back into his old life.
