Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Medallion has the ability to control soulless lifeforms. It can resurrect the dead, however it's power comes with time. The fresher the corpse, the more difficult it is to control. Older bodies and remains work best. Newer bodies can still be resurrected, but it's dangerous. They are more susceptive to unwanted possession due to the corpse's lack of a "dead soul." The medallion also has abilities to create and control plant-life, which have no spirit, naturally.
