Samson Whetstone
Samson grew up in a bad neighborhood but he never let that corrupt him. He led church movements and tried his best to contribute to his small community. That didn't stop the police from brutally killing his two brothers, one was only 13 years old. His rage against the police, however was internal. He never let it overpower his emotions. Then after being in the wrong place at the wrong time, he found himself in a situation where he was beaten nearly to death and put in the hospital after 5 policemen found him alone at night. After his recovery he was shocked to hear he was blamed for the death of a police officer. The judge barely listened to his case and he was thrown in jail.
Samson treats all harshness that comes to him as a test from God.
Samson has a supernatural ability to detect the history of a location, however doing so causes him great emotional pain and confusion. Usually it isn't until after a few days of performing the act that he is able to recall and coherently communicate what he discovered. He has not found much use for his ability other than novelty, and nobody every believes him anyway, so he stopped using it.
Roland had a dream about Sampson, and knows of his location. He wants to free him badly, and will try to convince the rest of the Bunker to break him out of prison.
