Ancient Grudge

The Sea-Elves and Koalinth in Embershard bay have hated each other for ages. The source of this animosity comes from an ancient tragedy. Long ago the two races were united against some terrible threat by a champion wielding a bident with the power to control the sea. In the final battle against the foe, the champion was struck down through betrayal and the bident was sundered in two. Each race blamed the other for the plot, and each took a half of the bident. Legends tell of the day that the bident might be restored and a new champion will arise to face the forgotten enemy.
