A Mysterious Stranger

Description

Kadmos found an unconscious naked woman in the forest west of Andrios and brought her back to Andrios. She was only wearing a black cloak, she's covered in tattoos and was carrying a golden funeral mask with strange runes hastily carved in its interior. During the middle of the night she awoke abruptly and, in a trance, shouted "They are coming?!"

Progress

After medical observation by Kaliaros and Miri, the two concluded:

• There is no medical reason for the woman to be unconscious;
• There's discolouration from the tips of her fingers all the way up her arms to her biceps. This discolouration seems worse when she's physically harmed;
• Her skin is a lot harder to pierce than normal skin.
• The discolouration seemed to regress in a 10 hour timespan
• The mysterious woman telepathically communicated with everyone in a certain radius "They are coming... only the chosen ones can save us..."
• The discolouration now covers her arms and encroaches onto her chest.
• After some time, the discolouration has receeded and now only covers her arms.
• Her tattoos are becoming more intricate, now looking more like the weaving of a canvas
• The council found a corpse in the forest near where the mysterious woman was first found
• The council found Dawn looking for the golden mask the mysterious woman was carrying with her
• Dawn broke a pink crystal causing a pink fog and then turned into a monster
• Nir gathered up what remained of the pink crystal
• Nir read the runes on the golden mask: "The old ones will be our doom and salvation. Find the oracle in the ruins along the Lindus River in the Katachthon Mountains"
• The council met someone called Venat who believes the mysterious woman might be someone she's meant to meet called Kira.
• Venat performed a ritual that removed the discolouration from Kira's body and she's meant to wake up in a few days
• Kira woke up and joined the council at the festival!

Fennan and his colleagues from the Council of Education discovered through research:

• The runes on the mask don't match any known language in Edinia (the council has dictionaries in all by Triton but Fyx confirmed it wasn't Triton
• The inscription's style matches runes described by others who claim to have escaped the underworld.
