- A PC using a consumable on themselves is a Bonus Action; handing a consumable off to someone else is also a Bonus Action, but feeding a consumable to another character is an Action.
- Each time a PC falls to 0 hp in an encounter they gain a level of Exhaustion. These levels of Exhaustion are not applied until after the encounter is resolved.
- During the first round of combat, PCs can spend their Reaction to switch their initiative with another PC who has not yet acted that round.
- Skill checks during combat are free to attempt, but may require your action or bonus action at the DM's discretion, should you succeed. Example. PC: I want to push this bookcase over on to the orc on the other side of the isle. DM: Okay, make a Strength check DC 16. If you succeed, it'll cost your action to push it over. PC: Rolls a 4. DM: You are unable to push it over, but you still have 15 feet of movement and your action left this turn.
- Falling damage caps at 500 feet, not 200 feet, making the max falling damage 50d6.
- Minion enemies have 1 HP and don’t take half damage on failed saves.
- When you roll a natural 20 on an attack, add up the damage dice you rolled and then add the maximum they could have rolled to that number. Example - a crit with a longsword would deal 1d8+Str+8, rather than 2d8+Str.
- DM rolls player death saves behind the screen.
