Talathra Melndar, Scion of Darkness

Talathra Melndar is the Scion of Darkness. She became one of the Scions of Oolene in 474 AS when she died giving birth to her one and only offspring - a dark elf who could walk in the light of the sun without fear. As a young Soulborn, she suffered terrible burns to her face and hands when she discovered that she possessed an extremely severe allergy to sunlight, far worse than that of her fellow dark elves. 
Talathra was one of the few dark elves that turned on the Primordials during the War of Souls, believing that her condition was a sign from the gods. She served with distinction during the closing action of the War of Souls, known across Edras as a master archer who stocked her quiver with shards of moonlight rather than arrows. She spent the next 400 years protecting the young races from horrors of the night, hunting down the foul creatures that still roamed Edras in the wake of the war. 
When Talathra appears to the faithful of Oolene, she does so as a vaguely dark elf shaped figure clothed in a dark purple cloak and black iron chainmail, underneath which nothing but wisps of night’s darkness can be seen. A bow of obsidian rests against her back alongside a quiver filled with sharpened motes of moonlight.
