House Seville, or Sev, is a Blood noble house in charge of importing and exporting goods for her Holy Empress and her associated administrators and their civil buildings within Ciudal Sahn. This House is run by the eldest son of six siblings, Lord Amon Sev.
Description:
Standing a short 5'7'', Amon has piercing brown eyes underneath short cropped and coifed black brown hair. His meticulously trimmed goatee and mustache are never out of place. His fine clothes always are a hue of blue and gold, the colors of the Seville family. Amon always tilts and turns his head slightly, when listening to others, giving away the hearing trouble he has had since birth. He is not fully deaf, but the tinnitus he suffers causes many problems with him understanding voices. His eyes are as sharp as a hawk's. He watches lips, studies mannerisms, and is always seeking a weakness in those facing him.
Amon Sev is a shrewd businessman, and has always been tight in his dealings with others outside the family. Up until recently, Amon Sev has focused every waking moment to the family import/export business and the promoting of his family's standing.
Recently, Amon Sev has fallen in love with a dusky-skinned female from Anwar that one evening at a festival, he could not take his eyes off of, and has become completely smitten with her. Amon courts her, dividing his attention more and more between the family business and the woman. This has caused many problems to spring up within the business, and he has lost more than one shipment. This has caused the family name and reputation to begin to slip.
History:
Amon was born to a shipping noble and his wife; she was a noble daughter married off for political reasons. He was the first born of five other siblings. He took care of his three brothers and two twin sisters, while trying hard to keep his father proud of him and his achievements. His childhood and teenage years were spent in both school and the church. Money and math became second nature to him; by his seventeenth year, he was in charge of the family treasury and accounting ledgers, with his mother checking his work. As he aged, she checked less and less.
His father took place in quelling a rebellion against the Empress and was seriously injured. As he lay bedridden and unable to speak, Amon took charge of the family business and almost doubled their profit and influence in only two years. Amon arranged and married his two youngest brothers off to other families, as is traditional, for political alliances. The second son, Dantes, was a drunk and criminal, and was cut off from the family fortune by his older brother. That same night, Dantes was found hanging by his neck from the main arch of the family compound. This murder never sat right with Amon and he still seeks to find out who ordered his brother's death.
Most recently, Amon has become enamored with a female Anwari named Sherishka Aduwati. He has courted her for two years, and she continually evades his offers, waiting to accept his court. His remaining family worry he will waste the entire family fortune to get this Anwari woman to give him a smirk.
In game terms, Amon Sev is a level 15 ranger (dual wield rapiers), and level 4 cleric of Fonton.
Amon wields rapier and main gauche he calls his "daughters". They are a silvered +2 rapier of speed and main gauche of wounding
Holdings:
Amon controls the House Sev business of import/export, making over seven thousand gold kings every winter.
House Sev collects over two thousand gold kings from other family members and their businesses.
He himself owns half of the Red Room, a pleasure palace for nobility in the Senate Ward.
He holds a seat on the Council of the Porters Guild.
The family owns thirteen warehouses in the Docks Ward, and rents them out for monthly income.
